How to Be Successful in School Article 2

There is a huge difference between being successful and achieving success. Success is something you can easily get into your life without working hard for it. Success is a matter of luck and timing. It’s not an achievement to achieve, it’s just a state of being.

Success is different. Success requires hard work, dedication, perseverance and persistence. If you want to be successful, you have to be willing to put in the effort.

STEP 1: Set Goals

The first step to achieving success is setting goals. Set short term goals and long term goals. Write down all of the things you want to accomplish, and then break them down into smaller goals. Don’t set too much to accomplish. You will be overwhelmed.

STEP 2: Plan, Plan, Plan

Now that you’ve set your goals, you need to plan how you’re going to achieve them. What are the steps that you need to take to get from where you are now to where you want to be?

Plan out everything from when you’re going to start the process, to what you’re going to do when you’re finished.

STEP 3: Take Action

Finally, you need to actually do it. You need to start working towards your goals. Whether you’re starting a new job, building your social media presence or taking that course you’ve been wanting to take, you need to begin.

Don’t procrastinate. Don’t wait until the last minute. Do it now.

STEP 4: Celebrate Success

Once you’ve achieved your goal, celebrate. If you’ve set a goal to write a blog post every week, for example, congratulate yourself for finishing your first post. You didn’t just finish a post. You completed a step towards your goal.

You need to celebrate your accomplishments. This is a big milestone in your life and you should be proud of yourself.

STEP 5: Repeat

If you want to achieve more, you need to repeat the same process over and over again. You have to continue to set goals, plan, take action, and celebrate your achievements.
