It’s easy to make new friends, but what do you do when you meet people who seem to hate everyone?
Some people just have a hard time making new friends. They find themselves in situations where they feel like the only person they can talk to is their own friend circle.
But don’t worry! You don’t need to be popular to make friends. In fact, it’s often the people who are shy or socially awkward who end up having the most friends.
STEP 1: Be Yourself
Don’t worry about what others think. They may not understand why you feel the way you do, but they’ll never know unless you tell them.
Try to avoid getting too attached to any one person. It’s a surefire way to ruin friendships.
STEP 2: Be Positive
Just because someone doesn’t like you doesn’t mean they’re not a good friend. People are drawn to positive energy. Try to focus on the positives instead of focusing on the negatives.
STEP 3: Don’t Talk About Yourself
Avoid talking about yourself too much. You may think that talking about yourself is a great way to get to know people, but in reality it’s a great way to bore people to death.
If you want to make friends, you should try to focus on the things that interest them, not on things that only interest you.
